👉 Mr. Fethi Hanchi, Director General of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), took part on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Tunis, in a workshop titled "Energy – Electricity and Renewable Energy," held as part of the 8th edition of the business forum "Financing Investment and Trade in Africa – FITA 2025." The event was organized by the Tunisian-African Business Council (TABC) on May 6 and 7, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic.

🎤 In his speech, Mr. Hanchi emphasized that the African continent is on the verge of a major transformation of its electricity systems, which requires joint efforts and the capitalization of available expertise in the energy field among African countries. He noted that Africa has all the natural assets—particularly energy resources—necessary to adopt advanced and efficient technologies to ensure a sustainable energy system.

🔻 The Director General of ANME stressed the importance of enhancing regional integration and cooperation among African nations in order to improve energy access, increase electrification rates, and raise the quality of services across the continent.

✅️ The FITA 2025 edition is held under the theme "Accelerating Africa’s Transformation," highlighting the continent’s key challenges and growth drivers such as industrial transformation, energy transition, digitalization, and the modernization of infrastructure and logistics services.
