The PROSOL Industry project was initiated by the ANME with the support of the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea 'MIETM', the United Nations Environment Program 'UNEP' and the Mediterranean Center Of renewable energies 'MEDREC'.

Through the PROSOL Industry project, a first demonstration project for the installation of a solar thermal installation to meet the needs of industrial processes at low temperatures is being finalized.

This demonstration installation is currently being carried out at the BENETTON factory, an industrial site of the ITHC branch in the Monastir region, by a consortium of EDS / DIS / SINTEC.

More than 90% of the project has been executed and the group of involved companies is in the process of finalizing the tests for the installation of a demonstrator with a surface area of 1000 m² of planar solar collector with an investment of about 762 TND miles.
