🔆 As part of monitoring the progress of photovoltaic electricity production projects within the TEEP project.
🔍 Mr. Fethi Hanchi, Director General of the National Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME), accompanied by the program follow-up unit, military officials, and representatives of the installation company, conducted a field visit to the Remada and Gabès air bases.
🔋☀️ This visit allowed assessing the progress of the photovoltaic plants’ installation, which will cover part of the electricity consumption of both air bases, and discussing a plan to extend this experience to all buildings of the Ministry of National Defence.
💰⚡️ Note that these two plants, valued at around 2 million dinars, are part of a larger project including 21 solar plants for the Ministry of National Defence and 373 solar plants currently being installed in 330 public institutions, with a total capacity of about 39 MW and an overall cost of 210 million dinars.
