The National Agency for Energy Conservation is organizing, from 24 to 26 March 2026, in the governorate of Sfax, a training session on electric mobility.
The session was officially opened today, Tuesday, 24 March 2026, under the supervision of the Delegate of Sfax, Mr. Khalil Akrouti, the Secretary General of the Municipality of Sfax, Mr. Farhat Breik, the Director of Energy Efficiency in the Transport Sector at the National Agency for Energy Conservation, Mr. Abdelhamid Gannouni, along with several agency officials and representatives of the regional office.
The session brings together representatives of the Municipality of Sfax as well as various regional administrations concerned.
This training provides an opportunity to enhance participants’ understanding of the latest technologies and technical features related to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, while highlighting the economic and environmental benefits of electric mobility and its role in supporting Tunisia’s energy transition objectives.
This training session is part of the programme for accelerating the adoption of electric mobility, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the National Agency for Energy Conservation in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
